Over the last few years I have had a great burden lifted from my shoulders. The loss of my business and the fall out around it was extremely stressful, I didn't really know what to do for the best, for me, my family and my home.

I can’t recommend Oakdale highly enough, Phil & Stuart were the only people who actually gave me an option that nobody else had ever offered, or even had knowledge off!!

From day one they were professional understanding and reassuring, I had difficulties with my business for a few years after the down turn in business but always knew I had a good base but I just couldn’t keep up with the VAT & TAX Demands !

I had years of sleepless nights worries and doubts and tried everything to get back the good business I once had, I knew there had to be answer but all I was getting from so called advisors was go bankrupt and get a job!! Easier said than done and also not in my interest!

Successful and established Insurance Business spanning 15 years.Heavily involved with a multi-Million pound contract involving a number PLC companies, which collapsed in view of substantial and long running media coverage of a similar type product. This resulted in litigation against a competitor and the involvement of the NHS and private Cosmetic clinics throughout the UK.

It’s not easy after 28 years to be told your business is failing. No one could have prepare us for the impact of a recession on our business. We had weathered every economic storm in our trading history. The big one came when the recession had taken one of our largest customers with whom we had traded over many years (no friends in business). We didn’t get paid and it very nearly wiped us out.

 After running a property portfolio with my brother very successfully for many years distress stuck us both after the financial crash of 2008.
